Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance is the most undersold and undervalued product on the market. There are many reasons for this but the one I want to focus on is many producers do not want to learn about it. I feel if these producers do not at least bring it up with their clients, then they are doing their clients a major disservice. Furthermore, by not discussing this option with our clients who may have a need for LTC services (and more than likely, everyone at some point in their lives will need LTC), all of the policies we sold and all of the planning we did for them in the past can be totally wiped out due to a LTC event. The emotional toll would be tremendous for your client’s family. I encourage you all to learn about what LTC insurance can do for your clients.
